Rescue and Re-integration

The Rescue and Re-integration Program aims to remove children from vulnerable and risky conditions such as street life and to integrate them into mainstream society through various interventions.

Psycho-social Support

Psycho-social Support is one of the major focus areas in our Child Protection program. The main objective of this program is to encourage behaviour change. Psycho-social issues are addressed in order to enhance self-esteem and confidence that create positive change in behaviour.

Education and Skills Training

One of the focus areas of our Child Protection Program is Education and Skills training. The objective of this program is to empower the children by making sure that they are able to make informed choices on issues such as HIV and AIDS and are well prepared for future employment.

Income Generating Projects

The Income Generating Project has been created mainly out of existing Wema Vocational Training projects. The older children and youth who get enrolled into vocational training courses may join the production and commercial sections,i.e the related Income Generating Projects.
