For a choir whose members have each walked a hard road to get here, standing on a national stage is its own kind of victory. Placing second among the country's best is something else entirely.
From Mombasa to Bungoma
The season started at the Coast regionals in Mombasa, where the choir topped the region and qualified in four items. Months of early-morning rehearsals later, that qualification turned into a national runners-up finish.
Why it matters
The choir is part of how our psychosocial support programme rebuilds confidence and belonging. Children who arrived withdrawn now hold a line in four-part harmony in front of a national adjudication panel. That transformation is the point; the ranking is the proof.
